| The diet I am currently following |
Day #1 went well. Surprisingly I didn't feel hungry all day. I even skipped lunch (because I was busy at work) and didn't miss it.
I had my son's baseball right after work and of course I didn't plan out a supper for when on the road, so I stopped at the gas station on the way. The only thing I could eat there was a bag of nuts and beef jerky. I was good and turned down popcorn and ice cream while at the game! GO ME! I even figured out all the vitamin doses I should take and when. That was a chore!
Day #2- Today I went grocery shopping and never went into the inside isles (where all the junk lives)! Getting healthy is sure expensive though! You can't put a price tag on health though, right? WHY is it that healthy food selections are more than double the price of junk food??
Now I just have to find a way to fit in exercise! Finding 30 minutes a day can't be that hard right??

I decided to weigh on every Monday. Besides being pregnant this is the heaviest I have ever been! This is hard for me to post publicly but here it is.....
It's been seven years since my last post and I hate to say that my weight hasn't changed since then. At least I didn't go up but I didn't go down any either and I really need it to. This time I'm going to do this!! My goal is lose 30 pounds (to start) and hopefully lose up to 80. I want to know what it's like to be skinny. I have been overweight since about 4 years old and just once I want to be comfortable in my own skin.
Tomorrow my husband and I will start a 21 days detox. Our diet will consist of high fat, high protein, low carb and no sugar. Oh and no alcohol! This will be the biggest challenge because I like my wine and my husband his beer. I can do this right? I had to quit for nine months with both kids. I got this!! Here is a picture of the vitamins we are taking. All $150 of them! Hope this give me the energy and confidence to keep this going so I can finally achieve my goals!
I wanted to say sorry to my followers for not being an active blogger lately. My life is consumed with parties, house projects and morning sickness. That's right....I'm pregnant! We are excepting our first child in March. I'll be back soon!

1. Excercise more often. The more lean muscles you have the more calories you burn. Three days of aerobic activity and two days of weight lifting.
2. Kick up the cardio. "Go hard for a couple of minutes, then take it down to an easier pace. Keep alternating like this throughout the workout." Aerobic intervals help maximize your burn, doubling the number of calories you torch during a workout.
3. Don't Skip Meals.
4. Fill Up On Smart Foods. Have protein at every sitting. Between meals snack on protein-rich walnuts. Eat foods that slowly release the sugar you need for sustained energy, such as, high-fiber fruits, veggies and whole-grain breads. MUNCH ON HIGH FIBER FOODS 3 HOURS BEFORE A WORKOUT TO BURN EXTRA FAT!
5. Eat Breakfast.
6. Go to Bed Earlier.

...the wagon! Yes, I fell off the wagon already and its only day four! I received a call from a friend who insisted we have dinner and drinks on the patio over looking the river. It was a beautiful day and being cooped up all day at work I couldn't say no. Three drinks and a pizza later I felt ashamed of myself. A girl's got to have a little fun though! So tonight I'm headed to the gym to work off the pizza and drinks!
I watched a few episodes of Dance Your Ass off on the Oxygen network and thought "I can do that!" I read of three videos that I want to check out:Bollywood Boogie Workout (acacialifestyle.com)
Stomperobics- The Nutcracker (tonyvictory.com)
Dance Off the Inches- Cardio Striptease (amazon.com)
I also recently heard about Zumba...a Fitness Program but it looks a little spendy. Maybe I'll start with the cheaper version and work my way up.
